Recruitment of qualified personnel for research and development activities

Does your department need an experienced researcher or research assistant who has a penchant for conducting experiments or working on equipment?

Having years of scientific research experience (from conducting experiments to analysis using top equipment), we can help you in the selection and recruitment process, regardless of the degree of difficulty or skills required
for the desired position.

Consultants from the HTP Research & Consulting team easily cover the need for specialists in the field of engineering, development research and more.

To ensure our support all you have to do is send us a brief with the need that your team has and we will recruit the desired specialist!

To build high-performing teams, you need a professional team that
understands the specific needs, understands the importance of the necessary activities within the team for the desired position.

We will complete the entire recruitment process from the initial meeting to the folow-up of the staff employed with you, taking into account in particular
the quality of the proposed candidates and the specific requirements of the
position.

How will the recruitment process go?

1. We study your institution as well as possible: what are the specific structures, values and needs? What is the importance of the position in the research team and what are your expectations regarding the new colleague?

2. We identify the potential candidates for the position, we go through a selection process and interviews, through which we quantify the compatibility between the candidate and the institution.

3. We recommend candidates who meet the set criteria and who have the potential to meet the objectives in the job description.

Our company does not perform laboratory analyzes, we provide consulting services and sample analysis intermediation with partners / laboratories of high quality in the field with or without RENAR accreditation.

Analysis of micro and nanostructured systems using advanced analysis methods such as:

Electron microscopy:

  • Scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM, BSD, SEM / EDX, ESEM, Low-Vacuum);
  • Transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM, STEM, EDX,)

X-ray diffraction;

Thermal analysis (DSC / TG).

Electron microscopy:

Scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM, BSD, SEM / EDX, ESEM, Low-Vacuum)
Typical materials and analyzes that can be performed using Scanning electron microscopy:

  • Powders, ceramics, alloys, cement, zeolites, etc .
  • morphology
  • Elemental mapping
  • chemical analysis (semicuantitative)
  • Thin film analysis:
  • Thickness;
  • Determination of the average particle size;

Transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM, STEM, EDX, elemental mapping, tomography, CrioTEM)

Typical materials and analyzes that can be performed using transmission electron microscopy:

  • Powders, ceramics, alloys, cement, zeolites, etc .:
  • morphology
  • Elemental mapping
  • chemical analysis (semicuantitative)
  • Thin film analysis

X-ray diffraction using CuKα radiation source diffractometers which can be operated in the following ways:

• In-line focus of the X-ray beam, which allows analyzes such as:
o Bragg-Brentano in geometry with reflection or transmission with or without test
rotation;

o Geometry with parallel beam:

  • Low incident angle X-ray diffraction (GIXRD)
  • X-ray reflectivity (XRR)

o X-ray scattering at low angles (SAXS)

  • Spot focus of the X-ray beam, which allows analyzes such as:
  • Epitaxy;
  • Texture;

Typical materials and analyzes that can be performed using X-ray diffraction:

  • Powders, ceramics, alloys, cement, zeolites, etc .:
  • Phase identification;
  • Phase quantification:
  • Quantification of phases
  • Determining the parameters of the elementary cell and the symmetry of the
    planes;
  • Crystal structure;
  • Determining the average diameter of crystallite;
  • Tensioning of crystallites;
  • Texture
  • Thin film analysis:
  • Thickness;
  • Facial composition;
  • Relaxation / tension of the crystalline planes;
  • Residual stress;
  • Defects;
  • Crystal orientation;
  • Determination of the average diameter of crystallite;
  • Lateral structure.

Phase quantization is performed using Rietveld refining, a standard method in which the diffractograms calculated for each phase are varied until the best fit with the experimental model is obtained. This method requires atomic crystal structure data for all phases for refining.
